I would love to buy an antique chair and re-do it, just like this picture! I would not have ever thought about painting the wood silver. I would have definitely thought about painting it white, but not silver. Love it! Craigslist, flea markets, antique stores, here I come!

blended styles
Christine LaneThis room describes me and my husband's style of interior design to a T--almost. Replace the ceiling fan with a sparkly crystal chandelier, THEN you have it! I am all about neutrals, slip covered furniture, and sparkles. He is all about rustic and bringing the outdoors inside. I like that the designer placed the rocks for decoration on the buffet-- never would have thought of that! I like the log as a coffee table as well! This would completely satisfy me and the hubs!

a colorful Christmas!
Although I love the traditional red and green Christmas colors, I also love the different use of colors at Christmas time. Pink, turquoise, orange, yellow, purple... every color from bright to pastel!
ENJOY!!

L-O-V-E

One of the things that I've been praying about lately is for God to consume me with love. The type of love that Jesus demonstrates. I want to be the type of love that is patient, kind, does not envy, does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. The type of love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. The type of love that always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. The type of love that never fails... I Corinthians 13 4-13.
There are so many things in this world that fade away but LOVE never will! Whenever you come in against conflict in your family, marriage, work, friendships, etc. LOVE is the answer. It will not ever fail! Father please convict me whenever I judge. As Mother Teresa puts it "If you judge someone, you have no time to love them." I know that we all have trouble with our family members whether they are in-laws or your siblings. The answer is to continually love them. You must have the love of God in you to do that. Worldly love is not love, it fades away. But the love of God is powerful and mighty! Thank you Jesus for giving us Your love. I love You!
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
